– An Edinburgh University Library online resource, this site
includes biographical information, portraits, extracts from
correspondence, e-texts. Images require the Insight Viewer.
- The Edinburgh Military Tattoo
– Huge musical and military event at the castle
each summer during Edinburgh's Festival Season. Always an early sell-out.
