- Castle Sinclair Girnigoe Caithness – A World Heritage Monument that is the seat of the Sinclair Clan Chief, the castle is now owned by the Clan Sinclair Trust. Its patron is HRH The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay.

The legendary Sinclair chanter produced by Willie Sinclair in the 1950s and 60s set a new standard for tone and pitch; its big, sonorous quality was the bridge into the modern era of pipe bands.

- Sinclair Broadcast Group – Media conglomerate of 58 TV stations in 36 USA markets, started in 1971 Baltimore by UHF pioneer Julian Sinclair Smith.
